Hi guys,
We are excited about the 3W engine too!
3W are fully aware of the engines intended use!
I am currently working on the development of this engine for manned flight.
I will try to keep you guys upto date with the progress

Hello Rob
You did mention the possibility to create a twinrotor, which could replace the 503,582 and 618's, right?!
If you could make it for the price of a 503 inkl the PSRU, then you might have a second winner.
But another point is the fuel consumption, it has to be significantly lower then the rotaxes, by fuel injection for exemple!!!
And last but not least, the TBO, should be above 500h or so, or even better close to 1500h!
Your single rotor engine, could it be fittede with an injection as well???
Best rgds

Hi Erkki,
yes there is talk of a twin rotor.
Infact i know it has been made!
Other then that i have no other details
With the twin rotor i can see the TBO being very good.
The engine would be running de-rated in all the applictions 447 -618.
As with everything like this its all to manufacturing costs and sales.
Small market = high manufaturing costs.
injection is possible too. The only thing thats not really been developed for the engine is a solution for oil injection.
Regards Rob
